Whack a Mole by Bigbenhoward Whack a Mole by Bigbenhoward
Another submission from when I was in the field training.

I'm terribly tired, having worked a 12 hour shift that lead into my day off, so I'm just gonna leave the comment at this till later.

I'll be back.

And four years later, I did come back.

That number, 120, that's on his helmet, that's my number. It's a funny coincidence that it's in this picture.

This was part of a two day course which is as close to being infantry as most of us in the Air Force will ever get to being infantry. It got kinda chilly when the sun went down, but it wasn't too bad. It started to sprinkled some rain right as I took this picture, but never picked up more than that. I enjoyed that training, even if we never needed it, I'm glad I got it.

Heh, no, that's my buddy. I was in the hole next to him. But I looked pretty much exactly the same, I had all the same stuff on. It was windy and dusty, so the goggles do something to help with that. But it started to rain just as I took this picture. Good times, haha.

Oh wow.. That's still pretty darn cool! :D
By the way, I find it so awesome that you can be in the Military and yet have such a creative streak - your photography is really good! :D

:blush:Ahhh, thanks Glamophonic! I appreciate it!

I'm kind of an odd duck in my unit. I don't drink or smoke. And I tend to be the guy who wants to talk about politics, science and philosophy instead of tits, cars, and drinking. Oh, I'm so lame! Haha.

But when it comes to shenanigans, I'm all over it, haha. Man, we've definitely pulled off some crazy stuff over the years. :katana:

Please, call me Glam/Glitchy - they're my nicknames. :) (Or, I guess Carmen is fine too but I prefer Glitchy :3)

Odd is good! I drink when I go out but I don't smoke. It tastes gross and makes my eyes water.. I don't see why people spend so much money to shorten their life span lol. You remind me of a few of my good friends - they love being all philosophical and talking about Science.. You'd fit in well with my friends, come to think of it haha!

And OOOOH SHENANIGANS LOL! Good on you ;D Way as well live life to the fullest, eh? :D That's so frikkin' awesome! Just.. Don't get caught! X'D

Haha, I hear that! When I was in Afghanistan, we'd do a lot of them! I almost got caught one time on a prank, I was screwing a wooden board over this guys bedroom doorway in the B-Hut when a guy came into the hallway. Luckily he didn't even look down the hallway and just went into his "room"! :ninja:

Hah, another time, I stacked a big pile of sandbags shoulder high in front of this one guys door when he was in the shower. Ah, good times.

Haha, yeah, I was joking about that while I was laying in the dirt with that guy. We're all in a field of grass and all you can see of the other people is their heads when they pop up and look around, then disappear before you get a chance to shoot at them. It was pretty funny.
